  bending those birches

... I'd like to go by climbing a birch tree, And climb black branches up a snow-white trunk Toward heaven, till the tree could bear no more, But dipped its top and set me down again. That would be good both going and coming back. One could do worse than be a swinger of birches.

from "Birches" by Robert Frost

Here we are at a wedding in Chocurua, NH, October, 2008. We played a regular set and then played with a caller, who called a country dance for about an hour. The caller really knew how to get everyone dancing, and the wedding party loved it. JT Lawrence (mandolin/dobro/vocals), April Hobart (guitar/ vocals), John Meehan (bass, vocals), Bill Jubett (banjo/fiddle/vocals). Click on any band member to read more about us.
